The Russian embargo concerning European food products is causing several problems and a European and Italian export decrease.
Italy, which until recently was among the first countries exporting olive oil to Russia, might be replaced by Tunisia which, thanks to a series of agreements undertaken with Russia, would be appointed as the main exporter of olive oil to the latter.
In fact, Tunisia and Russia are negotiating in order to establish new business relationships concerning the sale of olive oil also thanks to some new policies introduced by the Tunisian government to stimulate the birth of new oil producers and to facilitate those who will be equipped with harvesting machines.
This new business deal might ruin the Italian agro industrial sector , one of the few still controlling worldwide.
